First Błonie watches were produced in the early 1960s, but the factory was closed soon after. Then in 2012 the company was revived. This piece of history had an impact on the look of the website's interface that I designed in 2020 (our first collaboration).


The graphic content was to be inspired by the midcentury modern design and printed ads from the 60’s. Hence the vintage props in the photos, pop-art color combinations and grainy graphics appearing here and there. 4 years later, when our paths crossed again and I started working on the brandbook, this direction still felt unique. It only needed a small lifting. The colorful, vintage-inspired photos became more vibrant. As a counterweight, the other graphic elements became more sleek, clean and modern. We got rid of the typewriter-style font, but kept Futura, which is as timeless as Błonie watches. The updated direction, enclosed in more than 40 pages, perfectly suits the brand and its timeless designs rooted in the past.
